It’s time for Let’s Talk Bookish, a weekly meme created and hosted by Rukky @ Eternity Books and Dani @ Literary Lion where you chat about topics in the book world.

Today’s topic: Re-reading books
Is there a certain book or series that you always come back to reread?
My favorite author growing up was John Bellairs. I’ll reread those books forever.
Do you count rereads towards your monthly/yearly goals?
Sure. If I read the book this year, it counts towards the number of books I’ve read this year.
That being said, I also track my kiddo’s books read to meet the 1,000 books before kindergarten goal, and I don’t count rereads of that because then I would have read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie 500 times.
Do you feel guilty about rereading books?
I don’t feel guilty about anything book/reading related anymore. It’s my time. I’ll use it how I want. And if the gods of appropriate reading habits have a problem with it, they can do something about it.
I’ll say it again for the people in the back:
There is no right or wrong way to use your reading time.
What are your favorite books to re-read? Let me know in the comments or share a link to your own LTB post!
Great discussion!
I do sometimes feel ‘guilty’ about rereading books, since there are so many new books out there, but also I read to enjoy myself, and I enjoy rereading haha!
