A former acquisitions editor living in the Chicago suburbs, after almost a decade working in publishing I quit my day job to read more books about serial killers (and take care of my kids full time).
After a two year hiatus I decided to reinvigorate the blog in 2020, but this time taking the time to focus on my favorite genres: true crime, mysteries and thrillers. If you’re a murderino, binge watch Scandinavian crime dramas on Netflix, or wish for rainy days so you can curl up with a cozy audio book and your latest knitting project, you’re my people.

hey where did zombie coffee press go? I miss it!
I had to take it down due to a lack of time. I was supposed to be running it with someone else but she wasn’t able to help anymore and with just me and work and finishing school I didn’t have the kind of time I wanted to keep building it. Our last day was August 8th.
Thanks for reading and contributing! I’m very sad to have ended it after only one year but I just couldn’t keep it up.
I have nominated you for The Wonderful Team Membership Award π
I love your cross stitching! It’s one of my favorite forms of needle work too. You’ve inspired me to post some of my own work. I hope you come by and check it out when you have a chance at LiteratureVsLaundry.com – Happy Stitching & Reading – Ilene

Do you do any P Buckley Moss cross stitch? I have a couple of patterns my mom got (she was a big fan of Moss) that are languishing on my bookshelf and I would love to pass them on to someone who would enjoy them.
I’ve seen some of them other stitchers have done but I don’t have any myself.
